Amory rolled from back to front twice yesterday! Can you believe I missed it both times?!?!?
Amory rolled over this morning! I put him on his tummy and entertained him by ringing the bicycle bell on his crib. He then promptly rolled over onto his back! I think it was a fluke as it happened quickly, there was no prior interest in or attempts to roll over, and it couldn’t be repeated, but still…. The look of shock on his face afterward was priceless!!!!!

Today is Amory’s four month birthday – shared with his big cousin Daniel’s 8 year birthday. Happy birthday Daniel!
Yesterday was Amory’s four month doctor’s appointment. He weighed 13lbs 15 oz and was 26.5″ ‘tall’. Doctor says at his 2 month check up he was around the 50th percentile in both height and weight, but now, at four months, he is just below the 50th percentile in weight but… 97th percentile in height! He’ll be tall, dark (?) and handsome!
Sorry if this is TMI, but having had a home birth, we were responsible for disposing of the placenta. Our choice was to bury it or deliver it to the hospital for disposal – we chose the former and hopefully will get around to planting a little tree on top of it – the nutrients from it should be very good for the soil. We buried it in the backyard in a 3ft hole! That’s deep!
