3 days old – how cute and small he was back then!

Amory weighed in at 8lbs 1oz – nearly back to birth weight!

*sigh* They grow up so quickly….

“I do solemnly swear to always wear matching hat, booties and mitts.”

So to start with, the general cuteness. It’s a REALLY good thing he is so cute when it comes to the 3am feed!

Visit from Oma and Opa:

Nightime swaddle (thank goodness for the special swaddling blanket – ‘Swaddling for Dummies!’), and one I call ‘Keeping his distance’ – Elf has yet to venture too close to this funny, noisy, wriggly thing!

Amory had his first bath by Mara, our midwifery student. He wasn’t sure about the whole experience in general, but now he smells supergood!

Of course there is catching up to do! But here is the snap of the day from day 1 – Sept 1.

In the capable hands of Christi and Laurie, our AMAZING midwives from Diversity Midwives in Scarborough, 2 hours after birth. 8lbs 2 oz – he’s now down to 7lbs 12, but is primed to grow in the other direction for a good number of years!
